    in the listening today the tape wasnt playing properly and skipped through some parts. what happens now ? seems unfair. Examiner didnt do anything

    You, or someone else in your centre, should have told the examiner that you were not happy with the quality/volume/etc of the tape, before the test proper began. I don't think there's anything that can be done about it now.

    Call the sec and make a complaint. Your superintendent should have repeated the track, tried a spare cd , or got another CD player if it was faulty. She also should have a wrote a report on the fault.

    They can make sure your centre examiners are aware of the glitch and mark it taking it in to consideration . Be specific and tell them which section it was. Here's a link to the paper.

    If it can be established that there was a genuine problem, it will be noted for the examiner at the very least. Not sure exactly how they would deal with it from there, but there might be some way of affording a little leeway, especially if there were questions no-one could answer, which is pretty good proof that no-one could hear it.
