Coach in Dublin drive times

    Hi all,

I've been asked how long it would take to get from Ballsbridge to somewhere roughly near Dublin Zoo gate at 6pm (on a Tuesday in June if that matters - which it does as kids are off school).

In a car, I'd probably just laugh but I believe coaches can use the bus lanes can't they? If the coach heads into town and then down the quays can it get there in 30-40 minutes?

I've no idea if I'm being optimistic there but any bus drivers might know how Dublin traffic operates for them.

    Thanks.

Those bus lanes aren't of much use.

Yeah, you might be right there. I think I'll just ask a bus driver going down that way how long it takes at various times. They'll have a really good idea.

A ridiculous question! There is always major traffic congestion on the streets that lead into Dublin City centre and some days you could just be lucky and get through it handy enough! Give yourself an hour and any earlier it's a bonus!
