Im replacing the pivot pins and swivel bearings on a MF4370 tractor front axle wheel hubs. The pivot pins have a 16mm threaded hole on top to allow a special MF tool to screw in and pull them out. Does anyone know what thread they would be? Nothing I have seems to screw in right.

Could it be a fine threaded 16mm bolt? Fine threads so it can take more pulling force?

    No, its a large thread

I've done them in the 390 and I think I used a standard metric threaded bar not the usual UNC that MF normally use. So M16 threaded bar from local DIY store?

Thats what I tried, standard threaded bar and it pulled out of it! It looks a slightly larger thread. Would that be m16 unc threaded bar then?

Yea think it is unc from what I remember. Could be 5/8. We done same job on our 4360 a few years back.

M16 Coarse has a pitch of 1.5mm and thread OD of 15.016.
    5/8" - 11 UNC has a pitch of 2.31mm (25.4/11= 2.31mm) and a thread of 15.875mm.
