Three days in Budapest

    Hi guys,

    I am travelling to Prague and Budapest in July (taking the night train from Prague to Budapest). I am wondering what is the recommended amount of money needed for Budapest?

    I saw on another thread a few people recommending 200 for Prague (we have the accommodation and train sorted for Prague and Budapest), so outside of that how much money would be recommended for 3 days in each place?

    Also does it get very hot in both Budapest and Prague in July?

    Any other tips or words of advice is much appreciated!

    I have experienced Prague to be quiet hot in July before although that was a particularly hot summer.

    How much money to spend really depends on you as a person, what foods you like to eat and if you like to drink etc. Will you be using taxis or public transport. Allowing €100 per day will be more than adequate but depending on your situation probably alot less might do.
