Health Expenses - PAYE Services

Hi,

Prior to 2017, I had always claimed my health expenses via PAYE Anytime, which worked very well.

Now, Revenue wants you to submit your claim via 'PAYE Services.'

However there is no option for me to submit a health expenses claim under 'PAYE Services.' All I'm able to do there is divide my tax credits between my employments.

Has anyone also come across this who knows what to do?

I believe now you can take photos of your receipts and upload them via an app for review, as opposed to keeping the receipts for 4 to 7 years.

I did see the receipt tracker, but does using that service prompt revenue to process the refund or is it just a way to store receipts?

When you login to my account you will see PAYE services. It looks like you can still use PAYE anytime for health expenses for prior tax years. Just login as normal. You can also click review your tax 2013-2016 where you can complete and e form 12 tax return for the year in question. It will allow you to input all your detailed for prior tax years.

Problem solved!

I called revenue. Health expenses for 2017 can only be submitted at the end of 2017.
