It's tough, I've always been disappointed with Weirs' Seiko range to be honest. Have a look though.

This seems like Seiko's Irish storefront:
    https://store.seiko.ie/
    Plenty of 5 models there.

If you mean brick and mortars - I believe Argos used to have them but just did a search and they only have quartz models now.

Getting one in the flesh may be a second-hand job off adverts.ie or something like that.

Irish based seller on ebay might be worth a look, might be able to give you something off the postage? Has anyone here dealt with them?

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Conways Jewellers on Upper Liffey Street (beside the side entrance to Arnotts) normally have a few Seiko 5's in stock

The Seiko Store is run by Timemark the distributors and repair agents here, and they have a B&M place of sorts in some industrial estate in Dublin. I've been there to get an old Seiko repaired which ended up being unrepairable so they offered me a discount on another new Seiko if I bought it from them. They have, or at least had, a decent selection of models in the 'shop', but obviously can get anything you want.

Yorkshire watches - exchange rate is favorable and it's a proper bricks and mortar shop with a massive range.

Your picture is of a very low end Seiko, it's a €60-80 watch. I would buy online (eg Creation, Skywatches). You'll pay through the nose if you can find a brick & mortar shop who have it. The Seiko store above are charging €160 which is madness for such a low-end watch.

I can understand reluctance to buy a high-end watch online but nobody is faking a €60 Seiko automatic. Fakers tend to target high-value items or things which can be replicated incredibly cheaply.

I don't know if that's true. I mean the OP is probably safe enough, but I've no doubt that there are people faking Seikos. Better margin on a fake Rolex, but you'll probably fool more buyers with a fake Seiko.

Upon further googling it seems you're right.

But in any case I don't believe it's a major problem if you stick with reliable sellers and protected payment methods. It's 2017 and if you're scared to buy online because you're worried about fakes then you're missing out on a lot of potential bargains.
