Ya and you've clearly never worn a pair of Skechers if your comparing them to Penneys. Proper skechers are serious comfortable. Great bargain OP going to get a pair.

Similar ones available with sportsdirect with some options for the ladies.

    Agreed..

.. I've the Navy pair linked to above and they are great!

Not as comfy as Go Walk 3's but they stay comfy longer IMO as the GoGo Mat in the 2's last longer.

Penneys ones don't even come close to real skechers. I bought a pair of memory foam ones about 4 years ago and still wear them regularly.

Spend €50 and use code MG37 for 10% off..

.. tempted to pick up 2 pairs but my current GoWalk's are 9.5, and Debenhams don't seem to do half prices. Might take a shot on a 10.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,005 ✭✭✭✭callaway92

I got these a few months ago in DV8.

Hands down the most comfortable shoes I've ever bought.

Just an FYI though, they are not the best looking in person, so don't expect them to be! Skechers are all about the comfort.

Thanks for highlighting this bargain!! Always wanted a pair to try out but never could justify 70 odd quid on a tryout!

You won't regret this, let me tell you! I do 12 hours shifts in a care home, on my feet all the time and these are absolutely brilliant. They are also extremely hard wearing, have my current pair for nearly 2 years, they wash great.

Great bargain . Penney's ones are grand but you get what you pay for . Skechers are so much more comfortable for long wear .

Picked up a nice tan pair for 42! Thanks op

Not sure if they have stocks in the shops. I ordered online for collection in the shop (free delivery to shop). They were ready for collection 2 days later. They had a price tag if £60 on them, so I assume they came from a UK Debenhams warehouse.

Debenhams have free home delivery on orders over €30 which would save a lot of hassle over Amazon.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,174 ✭✭✭mobby

Was in Debenhams blanch today and they did not stock them but you could order from their website. Takes two days I believe. They were stocked in the shoe shop opposite Debenhams padsers or something i think its called but they were €67.

At £30 delivery will be free with Amazon too...

EDIT, apologies, not sold by Amazon so you would have to pay for delivery...

Thanks for this. I've been wearing Skechers for years, and they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. been trying to get my husband to see the light so this is his chance. He can hardly refuse them for Fathers Day. :D

Thank you Ransom Bloke for the heads up, tried a pair and ordered the sale ones for collection.
Great shoes, very comfortable. 50% off selected styles (discontinued??) - €72 reduced to €36. Genuine bargain.

May be eligible for additional discounts with AIB / ptsb Visa Go Rewards. Can also use one4all online.

Some examples below, but search under Sketchers to see all of them

Thanks OP, I've ordered a pair for collection on store Ready tomorrow from 12. Appreciate the heads up

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,104 ✭✭✭iPhone.

    Thanks OP.

I also see sportsdirect have a range of prices and styles of skechers available.

I'm not saying they're cheaper than the the OP's ones in Debenhams before anyone starts jumping up and down pointing their spears at me :)

But there may be an optional style etc at a reasonable price that may suit some folk that aren't included in Debenhams.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,267 ✭✭✭mcgovern

Just an empty shelf in Debenhams in the Ilac. Sports Direct only had the newer? Go Walk 3 which were €52.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,688 ✭✭✭Sup08

    Thanks OP.
I didn't purchase the Skechers originally posted but I did manage get another style with 50% off and 2 pairs of other branded flip flops with 50% off too for me and the Mrs. :)

All will be delivered free in 4 days.

You can use a one4all card but not vouchers.

You use the one4all card the same as a credit card (visa) and it goes through.

That's exactly what I used for my purchase.

Thanks for reply but I tried last night and it wouldn't accept although the balance on the card didn't cover the full price.I thought it would accept part payment and then id pay balance with mastercard

No - one4all don't do part payments online. You must have the full balance on the card, otherwise it won't work at all.

Fit is true, as the Americans say, so a 9 is a 9 and a 43 is a 43 for example.

I bought the navy & grey Skechers in the OP (or what looks very, very like them) in TKMaxx today for €44 odd - they were in the women's section.

Not sure now if I've actually bought a pair of men's shoes (I'm female) but they fit and are indeed comfortable, so what the heck! :pac:

Edit: Sure enough, they're men's shoes - checked the receipt. Was wondering why there were so many 8s and 9s on the rack. Will have to wear thick socks with my 7s as they're a bit loose without any.

Yep.. I'm normally a 10 but do wear 9.5 in Skechers. Tried a 10 on in TK Maxx in weekend and definitely didn't feel right. Shame they didn't do half sizes on Debenhams.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 58 ✭✭feet of flame

    Back to 36 euro.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 452 ✭✭rocksolid

got my pair of size 10's in navy today, but probably should have listened to people here and go a size smaller as they are too big..Luckily 9's were still in stock so just bought a pair of them instead..

Anyways as 10's are out of stock online, if any one wants these at cost price just PM me, if not i will be returning them instore on saturday
