Need 110 L of sandtex to do our new house... Sooo the 'offers' i see for 2 x 10L tubs for €90 just isn't doing it for me.

    I've found it for €35 a 10L white tub but that's still €385 for 11 tubs.

Is there anywhere cheaper north or south you can pick it up for less than €30 a tub?

Last house I did was still bright white after 9 years.

Why can you get 100L of another brand for less than €350?

White and magnolia are usually cheapest, I don't think I have seen it for less than €40 a tub. You should try that Crown Paints and Crown Decorating Centre opposite the Cinema on Malahide Road, they do public and trade sales, possibly do a discount if it's 10/11 tubs you want I would imagine.

You sure you need 110 Litres? If it's just the walls of your house your house must be 15 bedroom plus.

It's fairly substantial but not quite that big. I was counting on a couple of coats as it's just bare render at the mo.

I saw it for 32 a tub around Christmas, thought I would grab that come the spring. It's 40 a tub again hahaha silly me.

Your house must be huge!! I have 2500 sq ft house. I use approx 45 litres on it. With regards to getting it at 35 euro a tub, grab it. Thats very close to trade price.

Also, if its bare render, you should water down first coat by 25% and then 2 coats of normal strength on top.

Yes 32 seemed like a good deal. Probably clearance.

Is that 45L for 1 coat of your house??
