actually reminds me of a toy my kids had, a Thomas the Tank Engine train that followed a line that you could draw on a special mat. Always ahead of the curve on the island of Sodor :pac:

It's a guided busway. Such things exist already. The novel thing is the very long vehicle and to a lesser degree, that it is a long bus that is electrically powered.

I wonder if trolley buses (possibly with battery) are more useful than battery charging only. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trolleybus
