    Anyone have a HP ZBook - I'm looking at: HP ZB 15 I7-6700 15.6 8/500GB W10P/7

I used to have an EliteBook 8560w, so looking to stay with a good workstation that should last a few years. The 1TB version is 5400rpm where as the 500GB is 7200rpm.

The difference between a 5400 and 7200 drive is minimal. I'd be wanting a SSD and this stage. It makes any computer feel amazingly fast.

True, but what can you do with 256GB these days?

Depends on the person. A lot of people watch movies on Netflix, listen to music with spotify and can store photos online. It means 256 is at least reasonable for most. More would be nice, but the massive performance difference between a HDD and a SDD is worth the storage sacrifice imo.

Absolutely. I simply couldn't go back to a hard disk now. Anything newer than XP on mechanical storage should be banned in my view!
