    Hi

Im in the process of building a new patio. I have the area dug out and have already whacked the base with some stone I picked up from my own garden and neighbouring farm. I want to put 804 crushed stone onto it now.

Can you advise if my calculations are correct?

    length: 6.8m
    width: 4.6m

I want to fill to a depth of 10cms with stone when whacked and then put sand on top and then patio flagstones.

Am I correct in thinking that I need around 5 tons of 804?

How much is it per ton?

Any recommendations where to get in Sth Wexford area most welcomed.
    Thank you

I make it 3.128 cubic metres.
So converting to tonnes should be about 1:2 ie double it.
That's about 6.25 tonnes, but buying by the cubic metre is usually better/more accurate.
Ask in a builders providers if they will deliver it.
