Shin protection

Today I managed to drag a pallet down my left shin, only lightly thank goodness but it's the second scrape wound on that lower leg in a week, now part from being more careful is there any protection or clothing that can protect the lower legs? I've been looking on line but what I really want - some think light and soft/flexible which can be slipped inside long socks is hard to find.

    Any ideas?

Soccer shin guards! They come in various sizes intended to cover tiny part of the shin to longer ones to go up as far as under your knee
Edit: beat me to it :)
