Hi folks the father is getting a bathroom done up in September under the mobility grant he's been thinking that the old fashioned door may take away from the new bathroom ,

Any advice can this be done up or would it be better to get a new frame and door and if so,

Anybody might be able to help

He mightn't have much choice on the matter as there's a fair chance that it will have to be removed and replaced with a wider door to comply with Part M access requirements. Traditionally doors were 30" wide but these days it is the norm to have them 32"

Check what conditions are attached to the mobility grant.
