Gap Wedges, what do you use?

Currently I use a 50/56/60 but feel like I could get something in between the 50-56 and was possible even thinking of a 48 too! Iv been hitting my 50 around 110-120 lately and the 56 around 80-100 but both slightly inconsistent distance wise depending on lie (quite frustrating) My PW is a 120-130/5.

I am hitting these more and more and just feel like there is a bit of a gap between the 50 & 56. Has anyone had similar issues with these gaps?

I have 3 wedges 52-56-60 and my PW is 47 covers 80-135 for full shots. Anything shorter could be any of the 4 depending on the situation.

    I've 3 wedges, 48, 52, 56, don't see the need for any more.

    Same set up as myself!

Regular alternate between the 56 and 52 for full shots, pitches and chips depending on the situation. Would rarely use the 60 in my home course unless to go over a green side bunker, use it a bit more when playing parkland though.

45/50/55 ping - all mid bounce.

.....and a 58 low bounce trusty rusty for when the ground gets hard.

....I've also 64 degree wedge but rarely if ever stick it in the bag....not even sure why I originally bought it :D

I have this same setup rough yardages are 130, 115, 105 & 90 - I would use them all regularly for full shots and it's good knowing you have a lot of stock yardages covered

My PW is 47, I have a 52 and had a 58 (both with 10 bounce) all the same set, Nike VR Pro Combos, lovely club. When I was buying them, the guy was trying to sell me a 52, 56 & 60. However I was dead set on a 3 iron in the bag and to be honest, I made the right choice, couldn't be without the 3 iron, I use it every single round at least a few times.

But I was struggling with shots of about 90-100 yards, my 52 was to big and not always easy to hit it a bit softer but still hard enough to make the difference. A search ensued for a 56 in the same set but I couldn't find one after searching for a long time. Eventually I gave up a few months ago and went with the Nike Engage square sole they were selling off. It made a difference for the distance shots but still didn't feel right around the green, it's quite a different club to the VR. I found it much tougher to hit for a flop shot or even out of the bunker. Then an offer came up to join Castleknock and get a free wedge. I got a Titleist Vokey SM6 56 with 10 bounce. Almost an identicle club to the VR. Have to say I love it, struggled a bit out of the bunkers for a while there with it, but recent attempts have been much better.

My 58 is a better club out of bunkers and for flop shots but it lacks the distance the 56 gives me. I may consider keeping them both in the bag and taking out my 5 wood or even driver for some rounds.

I had a 60 before. Would I get one? Probably not, found it awful hard to hit, not needed at all really, as my 58 can do everything it does. Posibly for a certain distance from the green 60 yards or so it might work, but I'm actually comfortable enough at that distance with what I have, be it half a wedge or run smething in along the deck.

Back to wedges; my set-up is poor on paper but works ok for me. Stock PW 43°, GW 46° & SW 55° - crazy lofts but that's "distance" irons for ya.
    I then added a Cleveland 588 60° recently.

I manage various yardages by either 1/3 swing, 2/3 swing, full swing, on all 4 clubs = 12 combos for 40-130 yds (all jotted down on my trolley) and also can grip down 1-2 inches on the shaft to shave off 5-10 yards if needed. Works for me, most of the time ;)

I have a pitching wedge (48), and attack wedge (52) and a sandwedge (56). I think the attack wedge is a funny name.

    But distance wise in metres

    Full P - 120
    Cut down P - 110
    Full A - 100
    Cut down A - 90
    Full sandwedge - 80
    Cut down S - 60.

So there's a bit of feel and the like to get the exact distance, wind will play a massive factor, because if you're throwing a pitching wedge or less up there on a windy day it'll be a completely different distance. I reached one of our par 3s with a pitching wedge before when I had a gale behind me (it actually needed a 9, but I wanted to see if I could reach it was a PW). If that same wind was into me on that hole I'd have needed a 4 easily.

I'm the same although roughly 12m less for each of those.
