I'm getting married overseas - it's a pretty relaxed wedding and its going to be very hot - so I really don't want to wear a full suit. I was thinking just a blazer, **** and chinos - no tie. Does anyone know if I can rent this type of thing? I was going to just buy it all but it will get pretty expensive for me and 3 groomsmen. I was thinking of buying them custom shirts anyway, but I'd prefer to hire the blazer, and maybe even trousers and shoes etc.
Anywhere in Dublin that can do this for me does anyone know?
    Thanks

There are some places that will hire out lounge suits as part of wedding hire but I don't know of anywhere that'll hire out blazers and chinos tbh.

If budget is tight consider hunting around sales and places like penneys, dunnes etc, and getting stuff for cheap. Spend a bit on getting it all tailored well to the individual guys and it'll look great.

Also, if it's hot where you're going then I'd skip the blazer entirely. If you want to look smarter than just wearing a shirt and trousers then opt for a linen waistcoat or something.

You could ask the guys to wear a pair of beige chinos (most guys will have a pair already) and then get them the shirts to unify the look.

I'm getting married in Spain in 2.5 weeks so was in a similair situation. I got a Linen Suit in River Island (Pants, Waistcoat, Jacket) and a Linen Shirt in Zara. Shoes are from Penneys. I have a jacket but I say I'll be wearing it for no more than an hour and a half, it's really just for the photos.

I struggled to find anywhere that would rent that kind of gear, it was all full proper suits.

How about you wear a jacket and the groomsmen don't. Or you wear a jacket and they wear waistcoats?

If it's as hot as you expect, you might not want to be in a jacket yourself.

H&M do good linen and cotton suits / separates which are very reasonably priced. Trousers €30. Jackets between €70 and €100. Waist coats €22. Check them out online.

Jackets and chinos can look great but they can also look awful if the they don't suit each other eg linen trousers and structured jacket.

Also, if you've got linen trousers, you might not want a double cuff white shirt.

How casual / formal do you want them or you to be?

That's a good idea actually thanks - that way I can get a nice good quality jacket but I wont have to shell out the same for the groomsmen!

And they'll be happy not to have to wear a jacket.

I'd advise getting yourself two shirts. You'll be sweating through out the day. Change into it later in the day
