Privatising social housing in dublin central

The first thing I noticed when I returned to ireland is the amount of scum that inhabit central Dublin. I'm guessing that most of them come from the surrounding social houses in inner city Dublin.

Since everybody else has to bear the burden of rent increases, I thought a good idea would be to privatize social houses to drive the good for nothings out including the eradication of methadone within the m50.

    Will this work?

That's really not kind. I would never even think of calling anyone that.

Not unless you're pissing and puking all over the streets in the middle of the day.

sorry i meant removing methadone clinics from within the m50-
i think those who made a living would accept the rent increases-the good for nothings would leave.

i would call it the new government relocation program

I'd be for a certain amount of privatization.

Your attitude however is probably one of the biggest hindrances to it ever happening.

Thanks to your kind it becomes a class war instead of a discussion based on logic and whats best for the country and people overall.

The scum's rent is paid by the government, so they'll stay.

The people who work will be forced outside of the M50 to get cheaper houses.

In short, only the people who work would suffer.

I used to live next door to a family that originated from the flats in the city centre(Pearse Street I think). The family were getting on fine, the kids got into small bits of trouble in school but nothing major.

The couple broke up and the mother went a bit bat**** crazy and wanted to move the family back to the flats. She got her wish and years later one of her kids ended up in prison and not too long ago I seen another one on the streets begging.

These places are Sinkholes. They will drag anybody down.

One of my earliest memories in life was going to view a council flat with my parents. They turned up to the estate and said "Nope" and didn't even bother looking at the flat. My life would have been very different if they took that flat.

Do you need some more duct tape for your public arousals?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
