Help with car ad

I put my car for sale, but haven't had any serious enquiries. Advertised on adverts, donedeal and carzone.

Looking for advice - I only put the ad up on Sunday and I know can be a waiting game. I think the ad description and photos are good. I've tried to put a price factoring in spec, condition, mileage, etc. leaving some room for haggling.

I've looked at what's available, and it's probably towards the higher end of the spectrum price-wise, but don't think it's totally out there for a petrol hatch version, though in the same territory as some rough/low spec 07/08 models. There are a few advertised for well more, though I know that doesn't mean they're selling at that.

    Any feedback and opinions welcome.

Without researching (so I could be wrong) that strikes me as a €2k car and even at that it's be a waiting game. They aren't very desirable.

Yeah, there are a reasonable amount of options out there, same year, similar mileage, good NCT for less than half your asking price.

For example. Even inclusive of travel costs and risks taken over having no service history and slightly higher mileage it's still well worth someone's punt over yours.

It is probably worth around €1500-€1800 as it stands...

It's way overpriced and should be on donedeal. You'd pick up a new model 6 for €3k as well.

No offence but I'd change your location to city centre or something from Crumlin in the ad, not a hope I'd view a car there.
No need for all the waffle about buying a bike and the honesty about the mark and a picture of the ding.
It's got NCT & Tax, ask a quick €1500 before the tax runs out and see will someone jump at it.

Yeah, that's fair enough. The one in the link is a saloon rather than a hatch, but that might not matter to many people.

Hatch doesn't make it more valuable.

It's overpriced by at least €800 imo. 11 year old Mazda 6s just don't fetch that sort of money these days.
