Down in the Kingdom this weekend. Just wondering if I could get a bit of local knowledge. I'm based just outside Killorglin and I was wondering what routes folks would recommend in the area. Ideally a 60-70k loop avoiding N-roads if possible and with a bit of climbing thrown in. At the moment I'm thinking of heading over towards Glencar and somehow looping back via Carragh Lake.

Follow river on south bank, climb Gap of Dunloe, Black Valley, Molls Gap, Ballaghbeama Glencar and Caragh on way home.
