    Yes to both
Like the scales (although had no other for comparison).
Had a small issue, they talked me thru all aspects over the fone & eventually came out to repair.

Don't know much about them, they appear to be a family business & they're proud & passionate of their product is the impression I got

Is it lacking in anything Hard Knocks or if you were buying again what different aspect/option of a scale would you go for?

We've outfarms & it'd be nice to transfer without a trailer, but I've been told the folding scale platforms cause trouble after a while.

Other thing I like is it can use battery or mains

I'm looking at buying a platform cattle weighing scales at moment. Rang few different companies. Hadn't heard of DMD before but they seemed sound to talk to so was going to buy from them. Wondering if you still happy with yours or if anything you might change or don't like? Or if anyone else has any experience. Thanks!

    Yea still like it
The only negatives which is probably same with all
Platform is awkward if moving from place to place
Leave cable secure when finished, cattle have an attraction to get caught in loose things
Have spare AA batteries, the batteries last but people forget to turn off & can run out at wrong time
    Good luck with your purchase

Depends on what kind of specs you go for but generally DMD/O'Neills/O'Donovans from around 1175 plus VAT (which can't be reclaimed I think as not fixed item). The TruTest Brand which O'Donovans use for weighing seems to be highly regarded across weighing but don't like the high sides on their scales.

Hey guys, late to the game here, I have a sheep scales from DMD, I think they might be gone out of business. Today I got an ‘error 1’ message on the scales, I can’t find my user manual either. Any chance anyone has come across this maybe still has a manual?
