Musicians wanted for FYP recording

    Hi guys,

This September I will be going into my degree year in the Music Production & Technology course in Limerick IT. For our FYP, we are given pretty much free reign and I'm almost sure that I'll be recording an original piece of music for mine. The concept and composition will be something I will be working at over the next 6 months before recording begins. Basically I'm just putting the word out there now and seeing are there any musicians that would be interested in playing on it.
The style of music I tend to produce would probably fall under electronica, but my influences are extremely varied. (Bonobo, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Bon Iver, Gorillaz, James Blake, Roots Manuva, Knxledge would be some artists close to what will be composed)

The types of instruments I'm looking for right now are violin, viola, cello, piano, brass(if there are any about locally and would like to be involved, sure!) and vocalists. The upsides to this are it is an opportunity to get together, create some music, possible collaborations and a chance to play it live in LIT's Millenium Theatre at some stage.. The downside to this is I cannot afford to pay session musicians as such so I guess I'm speaking to the musicians out there who are looking to collaborate and do a few projects and get into a studio for the love of it. If money is a big issue though and you're an excellent player that I can't say no to, then we can discuss something and I'll make something happen.

Anyways that's all, hope to hear from a few of you. So to recap; Musicians in the Limerick or near area looking to record in the next year on an original composition, get on to me. Cheers guys!
