Speed reduction inside of contract

Hi, I have just signed up to 1000mbps FTTH. The salesman on the phone advised that I can reduce that speed at any point during the contract without incurring any penalties. Would you be able to confirm that this is the case and that my monthly repayments would reduce accordingly? Thanks, d31b0y

I can confirm that this is correct, our loyalty department has advised me that you won't receive any penalties for this.
