masses Ferg rake

    Lads I've a lely rake bought but it hasn't came in yet so the dealer gave me a massey one till it comes in problem is its lifting off the ground too early how do you sort it it's a 20 ft rake or so

    I presume he means the tines are lifting off the ground too soon as its depositing the grass.its the cam needs to be turned ,usally some adjuster for it but dont kniw anything about massey.are they fella

    Don't think there's any cam adjustment on the Massey rakes. Have you the rotors lowered fully?

    Ya reggie, was talking to the dealer he said they wouldn't be as good as a lely and he'll send someone out to look at it

    So far all good. Only done about 20 acres so far. Silage not really got going here yet

    It'll ruin the Silage if there's too much soil deposits in it. Are them machines not tested and scrutinised before sales?

    Ground is so dry that no earth is going into the grass tractor seats are breaking like mad I believe
