I was wondering if Goldeneye is suppose to be a continuation of the Timothy Dalton Bond timeline or is it a reboot ?

It feels more like a reboot than a sequel.

Bond films were never a continuation of a previous film maybe a small scene but overall now

As for Goldeneye its a sequel and Casino Royle is clearly a reboot

I think it is meant to be one continuous timeline at least up until 1989 as both licence to kill and the spy who loved me both make reference to on her majesty's secret service.
