I have looked at some alloy wheel protection online. I was wondering if anyone has used such products and if there would be a recommendation.

G-Techniq C5 or CarPro DLUX are generally considered the best in the business. The wheels require an additional level of prep, but once applied properly either coating will last 18 months.

Ceramic / nano coatings if you want durability for 18+ months - CarPro DLUX, Gtechniq C5, KKD R-EvolveX or similar

Traditional products wont last too long but can be put on without the prep being very critital; Chemical Guys Wheel Guard, Poorboys Wheel Sealant, etc....but durability would be quite poor and you'd be forever doing them.
Something that offers a bit more durability due to the SiO2 additives, would be ODK Momentum.

Would this be it here? would it be one pack per wheel?

Yes that's DLUX. One bottle will easily do all four wheels.

Detailingshed.com stock DLUX and are Dublin based, so it might save you a bit on shipping vs the UK.

One kit will do all your wheels, and the great thing is, any left over will also do plastic trims; will return faded plastics to their OEM finish and protect them too.

Does this leave any finish? How would is look on black satin wheels?

It would add some amount of shine to satin wheels, but nI thing drastic from what I've seen.
