Well, I'm in the same boat as OldandWise - just it's a fledgling crow. +/- 6 weeks old and NOT streetwise. I picked him/her up on Thursday as he/she was not able to walk without falling over. Vet said concussion, nothing broken. Kept in until Sunday at which point he/she was well able to walk again normally without keeling in any direction and very vocal. So, brought him back to where I found him, watched for a bit and left. Came back and hour later and there he was..in the middle of the road with cars swerving around him (thanks). So, she's back home with me.Eating like a wolf (once I copped on how to feed) and as noisy as ****. Loves to go outside with me and stalk around the field - being closely watched by +/- 8 cats at every outing (i'm carrying a water pistol so they keep their distance lol).Anyways, any idea when it's ok to release him?

Wildlife rescue anywhere near you? I think the issue is if he isn't with his own kind, he won't be able to cope if you keep and release him later.

    He's beautiful!
