    Hi All,

Looking for advice if possible - I am looking at returning to work from July this year after having taken a year off due to both parents being seriously ill(thankfully both well and truly on the road to recovery) - and have 25 years experience in different industries.

Any idea as to how I would address the gap since finishing up in my last position last year on my CV?

Any assistance much appreciated - thanks jkmanc1974

Hi there if you took a year off to be a carer, I would simply state that?

Nothing shameful in telling them you had a caring responsibility during that time.
