Quickpark Dublin Airport

So i was getting the bus to my car in the quickpark at Dublin airport yesterday when i noticed something.

There were a lot of cars parked bumper to bumper on the left hand side of the bus route just as you go past the premier parking bus-stop. To get your car out of there would be pretty much impossible.

Does anyone know what the deal is with cars in that section? Are they abandoned or are they extra-long parking or something else?

The cars were generally not 'old bangers' , there was a Porsche cayman in the midst of them?

Isn't there a valet in that car park? They could be related to that.

Probably the premium service where your car is waiting for you, and you leave it to them with your keys.

I used to work in Quick park. We had a section where we put all the cars that had been abandoned. Most were old bangers but there were a few cars that belonged to people who had been arrested or died overseas. While I was there someone came to collect a 2 year old Range Rover that had been there 2 years. He had been in jail in Spain and had to hand over 7,000 Euro in parking fees before the car was released.

Once a year we went round and anything a year or more there would be towed into a separate section.

Many people dumped cars in Quickpark. Anything very old or obviously wrecked we would get taken away after a few months.

After the recession 2008/9 the car park was never completely full.

Sorry to bring this up but does anyone have any experience with the premium parking service and would you recommend it?

Not needed unless in particular circumstances

I used it once when I knew we were back late with a couple of cases.

It was worth it to have car waiting for me rather than dragging everything around after a long day

If you have kids with you it is probably even more worth it

Deadly thanks will get it so. Did they know what date and time you were back using your online booking? Do they park the car as well or do we park it in a spot when coming in?
