I haven't submitted any accounts as of yet. It's registered a business ( Sole trader) & did a bit of work. It did ok at the start but went downhill fast. Over the last 4 years Ive been getting help from the social welfare because its been so bad. Now the welfare are looking for tax assessment forms.

I haven't made any returns to the tax office. Just feel I'm in a bit of deep S**t.

    Looking for advise.

    Speak to an accountant.

You'll need to get a drafted set of accounts for each year, and establish if there was a profit for the relevant years.

Remember there is a difference between cash flow and profit.

We're you VAT registered, or did you exceed the threshold, services 37500, goods 75000.

An accountant will sort you out.

    I wasn't Vat registered. I didn't exceed the threshold.

I'll have to speak to one shortly.
