    Hi,

Can anyone tell me if this is of interest?

Randomly found slab of stone, the lines are what I am wondering about, as they are protruding from the surface by a few millimeters.

FWIW it doesn't look like a fossil to me. More like a natural inclusion in the stone.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

It looks like veins to me, perhaps of quartz or calcite.
