    My laptop's gone boom :(

Can someone please assist me with recommendations for a new one?

It's core use will be for the Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop and Illustrator)?

Any recommendations of what kind of specs I'd need would even be helpful? I find the tech phrases a bit hard to get my head around!

Budget is, as cheap as I can get, but I can go up to €700 (though I'd prefer under €500 if at all possible!)

    Thank you for your help!!!!

Whats the use case? If its for print your priorities will be different to just a hobbyist.

I mean most 13.3" ->15" laptops should cover the bases with processing power and spec. A core i5 or i7 is what you should be getting at a €600 price point, and 8GB of RAM is standard fair here. In an ideal world I'd want more RAM than that, but I suspect you wont be able to do better than 8.

The main thing you should consider is the screen. 13.3" is quite small when editing, so you have to decide if you are willing to compromise there. 15" would probably be better, but then you have a larger/heavier laptop to carry.

An external monitor for work at home would be the best solution to the screen problem. You can get very good, large (ish) monitors for relatively cheap if you needed. It'd make using this programs a whole lot better.
