I have just bought a old garage behind my house and plan to refurb, damp proof and insulate.

Just trying to get some idea of costs

    Floor:

Dig out existing floor and pour a new floor, floor area approx c.140 sq meters to include damp membrane, 100mm insulation, and smooth finish.

I assume it needs steel added for strength and to prevent cracking.

Flat Roof "V" Shaped c.150 sqm, 100mm External insulation with high quality torch on felt system.

Are there other roofing systems to consider, fibreglass or silicon?

I am also looking at damp proofing and insulating the walls also, just researching different ways to damp proof, insulate and ventilate

A ball park cost for the floor and roof would be great, and anything I should consider in the process.
