So I want to get a flagship phone but S8 prices remains high.

Is it worthwhile waiting till July when OP5 comes out in the market? But again can't afford if it's over 500e. So was thinking of getting my hands on OP3T. Then i am thinking that OP3T price would go down after release of OP5.

Either way, you're going to have to wait for the OP5 before making your decision.

Sorry, what I meant was you should wait for the OP5 to come out to see whether it's worth getting, and to see if the OP3T price drops.

OnePlus generally run down their stock when there's a new phone out. I know I couldn't get a 3 shortly after the 3T came out.

So you are left with get a 3T now, or wait and see what the 5 sells for.

I will wait for One plus 5

About to purchase a 3t (450e) which seems to be like hens teeth at this stage with the OP5 release
Now I'm on the fence about whether I should buy the OP5 which will be 80e more expensive but a lot of reports saying the 3T is a similar or if on par phone...

    Ahhh decisions!
    Thoughts?

I have the 3T and am very happy with it.
Imo the 5 is overpriced in comparison.

if you're paying 450 for the 3t, then you might as well fork out 499 for the 5. if it were me going for the 3t, i'd just buy a second hand one in good nick, there should be enough available from people who have just upgraded.

I'd agree with the above. For either scenario. Get a 5 or a well minded 3T on the cheap.

Yeah... Typical Irish attitude about wanting to buy it new :/

Might keep it in on ice then for the week and see what lands online second hand

I bought a 3 on launch day. Only regretted it (slightly) when the 3T came out. Both are excellent phones

Add in 50e and get OP5. Camera is better!

Bought the 3T and delighted with it

To be honest...could just see the 500 plus I'd pay for the op5 going to 600 and having to wait. Kinda needed phone now

Everything great with it too... So quick

Where did you buy it from and how much as looking at either 3t or the 5

It's a pity prices keep going up, one reason why I loved the OPO for price to performance. What's the best phone for €300 now?

Was the 3T even that price 2 weeks ago direct from One Plus? I thought they were cheaper than that.

I was thinking €400. For €450 I definitely would have bought the OP5 though.

The price of 3T on ebay went way up last few days, is that because ONeplus dont sell it anymore? Fairly annoying I was going to buy one, I thought price would go DOWN when 5 released, but clearly got it wrong

Yeah seems like that. They are a popular phone. Very nice bit of kit.
I paid 450 for an xperia compact a few years ago so was happy with price
