Someone I know is going next week on a CE scheme and told me he has to go for 40 hours aweek
One week working one week free or one week up one week home
I tought and my supervisor told me its just 19.5 hours a week and what they are doing is not the norm
Question is : is this way of working allowed or not???

Yes it's allowed. There are two options; 19.5 hours every week or a 39 hour week with week on/week off. (it's on your time sheet)

This is allowed but it may be worth knowing that if your friend works every second week on the CE Scheme then he/she will only have a stamp paid for them every second week. Which means they will have only 26 paid contributions after 12 months instead of 52.

That's not true, they still get paid weekly.
