Hi I'm looking at the above model mercedes to use as a chauffeur car.

Any issues with these cars and are they too poky in the cabin for clients?

    Any advice much appreciated

If I was going into that industry it would be S Class all day long. Was a passenger in a taxi recently it was S Class and it was too notch.

Cheers. Although I love the sclass and is standard chauffeur car I just think it's boring to look at and the cls320 is so much prettier.

Any owners or drivers of the Mercedes cls320 diesel on here that could advise me please?

Your biggest problem is going to be rear headroom for clients. The CLS is a 4 door coupe and as such the car sits low to the ground and has a very low sloping roofline. An E Class would offer more practicality for rear passengers though it's not as pretty as the CLS.

Clients more impressed with interior space and comfort I would imagine. It's a business tool.at the end of the day. But I would imagine a CLS is up to the task nicely still an impressive machine.

Yep there a super car I guess I just wanted to stand out from the crowd.
I don't like the old style eclass it's too dated so it looks like a 2007/8 sclass

The only car I regret selling on is a CLS 320

For: Lovely car to drive, and be a front seat passenger in. Very comfy, quite frugal, and pokey when you wanted it to be.

Against: 4 seats, low to the ground (getting in for tall people can be tough), rear legroom is tight, rear headroom is tight

I found running costs quite high, compared to a C180K (previous car), and the E200K (subsequent car).

Yep there a lovely car but maybe not for chauffeur work unfortunatly.
