Spanish Police Clearance Form 790

    Hi,

I lived in Spain last year for six months as part of my degree and because of that I now need to get Spanish police clearance as part of Garda Vetting for jobs. The thing is I'm finding it really hard to figure out how exactly I get this.

Has anyone any experience with this? The form I need to fill in is called 790 as far as I'm aware.

If anyone has had to get this done before and could talk me through what they did I would be really grateful.

    Thanks a lot!

Hi! I'm finding myself in the same situation that you were in. The process seems straight forward enough, but I have a question about the certification of your identity card (driver's licence or passport). did you have to get your document notarized by a solicitor or notary, or did you get it apostilled by the department of foreign affairs and trade? Or did you have to do both? I'm hoping that is not the case that would set me back 80 euros in total!

    Hi and welcome to boards!

It is sufficient to post your query just once and if anyone has any help or input to offer, they will do so.

Yours is an unusual query so there may not be too many replies but again, posting just the once is enough.
