Self service checkouts

Is it just me or do they not piss you off. On the rare occasion they work they're fine but they are just so flawed, like last night I was getting about 12 things in Tesco and 6 times I had to call over the assistant to clear the error and get it going again.

I'd go to a proper checkout but they only have 1 open and the queue is a mile long.

In an ideal world prices would be lower if we have to scan our own shopping but alas there not.

I like the Aldi and Lidl way, fast and efficient no matter how long the queue is.

These threads always remind me of the people who say they hate computers because they never work or they're too slow, and then you find out they're using the mouse upside on a €150 bargain basement PC that's loaded with more porn and viruses than your average Vegas hotel.

Wtf kind of checkouts does your tesco have.

Tesco lets you turn off the voice, SV doesn't.
