As regulars will know , I am hopeless at tech !. cant supply link but www.dermotwallacemotors.com have a very rare 00D 12XXXX Bristol for sale.
Strange that its for sale not long after being imported , there has been a grey/ silver 00D one on heres what I saw today , could be this one repainted as says its been repainted.

I am strangely attracted to these cars and the history of the company , the fact that this example was owned by Tony Crook ( Mr. Bristol) until his death makes it even more special.

Price is POA , you get a very rare car - a 5.9 Chrysler V8 , great space and practicality and a traditional british interior.

Only thing is its looks are not great , think part of problem on this example in particular is that its wheels are too small and don't fill the wheel arches enough. Cars with bigger wheels look much better.

I think I would find it hard to buy one over a Bentley Continental R from say the early 90's.

It looks like a replica 1980 rolls based on a early 2000s family hatch/saloon

Saw the thread title and thought you meant one of these:

    577dec0a529c32f94e7b13ef427b97ec.jpg

Which made no sense, but would have been kinda cool!

I wonder what the connection between plane and car is, if there is one?

Oh my good god that website - it's like a time machine to 1996.

I always find those Bristol Blenheims to have a vague resemblance to a Ford Capri from the front.

I don't own a Bristol but am a bit of a Bristol anorak , have a huge book on the company.
The former owner Tony Crook was a bit of character , there are stories of him not selling you a car ( they were direct sellers ) if he didn't like you and also employing people to dress like tramps and hang around motorshow stands of Rolls and that.

I don't know if it's the same one but an extremely wealthy limerick man had one of those in his car collection.
My wife asked his brother who was driving it if it was a Capri?
    He was not impressed.

Think I know who you're talking about - would not have been impressed at all I'd say!

well as it has a 120k Dublin reg. , whoever imported it hasn't kept it long. Maybe Capri comments got the better of him.
I am familiar with Dermot Wallace Motors from growing up in Dublin , always interesting cars at steep prices which struggled to sell.
Thinks haven't changed much, how does he survive ? Would say a lot of stock is on commission.

Love the Bristol company, fascinating history and quiet an achievement that they survived so long (until 2011 before being reestablished) as a company when so many other niche manufactures shut up shop many years ago

120k regs have been out for many years so yet another incorrect statement from you!

what do you mean another incorrect statement ? - we have history .lol
They are only around a few years - not many.
Bristols American former owner Toby Silverton , decided to build a 200mph gull winged supercar instead of building a car to compete with the likes of Bentley Continental and Mercedes CL .

120k regs were introduced 5 years ago and this one is #205 from the 2000 year so its hardly a "recent" import

Was Mr. Bristol a fan of country & western music? That looks like an 8-track radio!

    Annual car tax €1,809.
