Pity they put Snoop on the KO mode. I was kind of hoping on the early fights in career they would have went with Snoop and Faber until you get your contract, would have been cool.

Its a love/hate thing with these videos. I enjoy watching them but then I just want to play the game. Im still playing 2 just to get my fix but im just itching for the game at this stage.

Will be getting it at midnight when it drops and then off the next day to play it non stop!

Chris Smoove is one of the only youtubers I can stand, he makes me but NBA 2k ever year (except this year) and he has just come out with sayings over the years. You reach I teach is when when someone tries to steal in bbal, seems like he had a use for his sayings in every game. MMA isn't his strong point but still a good watch.

Just watched the first fight, don't want to spoil anymore. A lot of feedback so far from people wishing WFA was deeper instead of just came stepping stone to UFC.

I would've thought, if you didn't like Youtubers in general that Chris Smoove wouldn't be your cup of tea :P I like him though. Martial Mind and Ricky J Sports I watch for UFC

Something genuine about Smoove, he's not clickbaity shouty shouty and he didn't lick devs holes, calls them out when needed

I saw this on twitter, top 10 ultimate team leaderboard. This guy got to level 60 with his 10 hour trial. All jiu-jitsu guys on his team as well, I'd say he was spamming subs like a mad man.

2 of the biggest gameplay complaints look to have been addressed.

Reading online how little cannot escape subs at all. In career of the AI attempted a sub, it was game over.

Also, people saying they were ground specialists in UFC 2 but keeping it standing in this because the transitions seem impossible to block/reverse. Because of both things, people were avoiding the ground game. Fix below is live so interested in hearing the feedback.

Also seeing complaints about the KO's. Since finish the fight was toned down, the camera seems to snap to the person knocked before you even know they are out and quicker to the celebration. I've seen some videos and it does look a bit jarring. This is a great job though.

Dev explaining the reasons of the update.

Grapple stamina:

Previously, you lost practically no long term stamina if you spent a whole round grappling compared to a whole round striking.

This broke the between round stamina regen meta.

If you spend any significant amount of time on the ground, you'd end up with way too much stamina at the end of the fight.

It was really obvious to me during the DJ stream when they fought a HW fight and ended the fight at full stamina.

The goal of this change is to make a full ground of active grappling drain a similar amount of long term stamina as a full round of active striking.

Submission gate speed

there was a legit problem. They were impossible to escape from without the attacker making a mistake in stamina scenarios that we didn't want to be a guaranteed success.

The way Cruz just falls to the ground in that looks amazing when you watch it closely.

Cant wait for this. Anyone know will the download only start at midnight or does it download in the background and just unlock at midnight to play.

Dont have great broadband at the minute so if it only starts at midnight ill be playing it the next morning.

The us psn has it up for download already, Europe is always behind with pre downloads.

Checking my library, it says it unlocks Monday night (midnight) but should be available to pre download on the 28 so would check tonight and in the morning. I don't trust the auto download.

Apparently the rivals in career mode are pre determined and the same every single time and they're all gatekeepers to top 15/ top 5 etc. That's pretty ****ty, not really rivals in that case

Yeah that sounds crap, how hard would it be to add a few more fighters into the rival system. Would definitely put you off playing career in the same division twice. I'd say some patches will definitely be coming to career going by what people are complaining about.

Just realised that CEX are offering €17 cash for UFC 2. I would have expected them to offer €3 for an old sports game.

I preordered UFC 3 online with Smyths for €55. UFC 3 for €38 is not bad at all!

Was not planning to get it but with the enthusiasm in here and the lower price I had to jump on it

Not completely, I've seen videos of people landing 4-5 punches before the ref calls it but it's definitely been toned down from what I've read. I haven't seen it but EA mentioned after Joe Rogan said landing punches on an unconscious opponent is a bad representation of the sport, UFC contacted them and told them to tone it down. Wouldn't surprise me if Joe was pissed how the game director dropped his name about getting doing voice work and they didn't approach him to work on this.

I think the best fix is to have actual ref interaction. The ref should physically get between ye and push you off, that HAS to be in the next game.

Dev said they are aware of the grappling problem. Takedowns from strikes are very slow and causes a pause in the action. Grappling in general seems to be
sluggish. They said they'll be working on a patch but won't be ready for launch.

I'll be straight into career mode to get to grips with the game before jumping online

Plan to be on tonight at midnight - dont know if ill delve straight into career mode or just go online and have some scraps.

Thinking just online so I can go into career and UT having got used to the controls again. Zero Cool ill be up for a few throw downs if you are around.

Cant make up my mind whether to get this or not, had 1 & 2 but was mainly an offline career mode player. Will see what ye make of it first I think. Didn't like UT at all in the last game.
