Hi , I will be selling my house and was thinking of using an on-line estate agency <snip> as they seem to do every thing for a fixed fee ( very reasonable) as opposed to a percentage of the selling price as charged by normal estate agents. Why do you think a fixed fee is better than commission? If someone is commission based, they have the incentive to squeeze that extra few hundred. Whereas on a fixed fee, it does not matter if you get €100k to €100m to them.
