Did some googling and it could be poss under watering or under watering

Stressed trees will drop leaves to protect themselves, long feet spell could have caused it.

You have not really given enough information. Is it the leaves on the tips of branches, or others? Is it a lot of leaves on one branch or odd ones all over the tree? Do the wilted leaves fall off, change colour or stay green?

Looks like minor damage. Keep them well watered for another year.

How much water does a 7 foot tree need approx ?

Soil has a very high peat content

    Thanks

Lord, I never measure water. I just put it on as I feel it's needed. After almost 60 years gardening I'm like the cook with a splash of this and a lump of that with a pinch of something. Sorry!

That's ok. I think I will water less more frequently ...

Its always better to water more, less frequently (a lot once or twice a week in a dry spell, rather than a sprinkle every evening). If you just wet the surface of the soil most of the water never gets into the soil. The roots are encouraged to grow towards the surface looking for water. After the rain the last couple of days the ground should be ok for a while.

    Hi,

Cherry Tree this time, its right beside the pear I posted about / same soil.

Some Cherries are small and turning brown ..... is that normal ?

I'm wondering if it's nutrient deficiency and going to get some tomato fertiliser to see if they perk up

The bigger cherries are looking good but concerned
