id give them a call today, i waited less then a week for my letter, but still no news two weeks later..

I posted my application April 20th
Got a letter saying they received my application on the 25th
Have heard nothing since either

I got my letter today saying I was approved... From April 27th
So it took a week from posting to reach a human

First payment will be this Thursday

week ahead of me, ill keep you posted when i receive mine, i got my letter dated 2nd may so hopefully next week..

got my letter to say i was also approved from the 27th april, so 3 weeks waiting time..

Sorry guys just seeing this now,
So about 3wks???

We got a letter last week dated 10th may, letter recieved around the 16th
So nothing yet,..post seemed very slow?

I'd say you will hear next Thursday/Friday, got my arrears yesterday....

Has anyone had to do a FIS appeal before?
I sent my appeal off on May 17th.
Got a letter from appeals dept saying it will be passed onto FIS dept on May 25th.
Nothing since

i had to appeal twice last year as first appeal was turned down and i reappealed before it was approved
i applyied in november 15 and was june 16 before i received payment was nice lump sum as was nearly 6 months waiting.

I had high hopes as the initial process only took about 3/4 weeksðŸ™

Appealed 17th April
Not too bad I guess

I have to reapply for Fís as got cut off due to being on illness benefit. I'm starting my maternity leave next week but sent off the form to employer to fill out. What slip do I send with it however the last slip social gave me or last payslip which was in March? Trying to get through to even find out is a nightmare

I literally just had same thing luckily managed to get through eventually. They just said to send the last payslip I received to them

Does anybody know how appeals are processed? I had to appeal and just received a letter saying they have passed my appeal onto the fis section so that they can clarify the decision to be regarding some points I made. Presuming this means im still been refused...? 🀔
