I have a set of Ultegra cranks I need to remove, but I do not have the proper plastic Shimano tool to remove the cap on the non-drive side.

The last time I did this job I had some kind of alternative doo-dad to remove the crank cap. Problem is, I can't remember what I used. Was it a shiny penny? A two bob note? A bit of twig? Memory is blank. It was something I had lying about though.

Can you help jog my memory?

I have used the back of a spoon handle to do it, worked grand.
