    First: I'm in cork city.

So for a couple weeks, when i go around 60-65 kmh, a howling noise suddenly comes up. It's not there when i go much faster or slower.

    I had:
    - brake pads changed
    - tyres changed

These things needed to be done anyway. But they didn't fix the issue.

What could it be? I read about the power steering fluid (which i think the k12 doesn't access to through the engine area) or the wheel bearings.

There is a shop opposite where the aircoach stops. They probably do a good job, but it seems to be a bit pricey. I don't really wanna spend a ton on the Micra which is worth probably around 1000 euros. But this issue is annoying and i want it fixed because i have to rely on the car for the foreseeable future.

Where can i go to have that checked out and fixed for a reasonable price? Maybe someone from cork knows a good place.

Could be a wheel bearing maybe?

Should probably let the missus out of the boot ? ;-)

Check if the any of the wheel hubs are hotter than the others - might help localise which size....

    are they a security concern?
and are they expensive to change?
