AirBnB rules in N Ireland?

Apologies if this is the wrong place, maybe it should be in legal discussion? Mods please move if needed.

Basically I'm considering buying an apartment in the North to put on AirBnB and similar sites for short term lets. I know the rules are complex in the south but from what I can gather it is fine in the North provided the property lease allows it and your insurance covers short term lets.

Anybody here have info or experience in this area?
