I'd like some recommendations for a self catering holiday in Cork please. We'd like to have the use of a hotel pool and have activities suitable for young children nearby. We've been to the Quality Hotel in Youghal lots of times so we're looking for somewhere new. Thanks!

Quality hotel in Clonakilty is good. There are houses next to the hotel. There's a pool and kiddies play area you can access in the hotel. Loads to see and do in West Cork. You're only down the road from Inchydoney beach.

Clonakilty is lovely, nice and small for pottering around.

Thanks for your replies. We actually stayed in Clonakilty before so any other suggestions?!
Mac, Youghal is nice and central. There's the beach, you're close to Fota and Cobh and there's a nice pet farm and indoor playground in Ardmore, Leahy's Open Farm.
