    Hi,

    I have a Karcher K2 Compact
Been working fine the last 4 or 5 years but when I went to use it this year it worked fine for a couple of mins & then the water stopped coming out.

Can anyone tell me if the water is going in then should it just flow straight through when the unit is turned off and gun detached.
    It's not for me.

Pump coming on makes no difference.

Yes, then water is connected it flows through whemnthe trigger is pulled.

On the inlet there is a small gauze filter, did you check it for blockage.

Don't run the pump much with no water coming through. The water is used to cool the high pressure pump and it will wear out quickly running dry.

I had a quick look at the inlet & all seemed ok

It didn't look like it was easily accessible though but will check again to see if I can get access to the filter you mention
