I have a Polo that got damaged by slates blowing off the roof of a neighbouring church during storm Doris a few weeks back. Thankfully the damage was only cosmetic but I want to sell this in car in 2 months so I can’t put off getting it fixed anymore. The fuel flap was cracked and the paint was scraped off, the dent it create was negligible. I’m wondering am I just as well to spray paint over it or should I get it repaired?  I have very little spare time these days so the latter would be my preference. I’ve already alerted the church that they will be getting the bill!

I’m in Dublin 9 area, any recommendations for who I should contact to have a look?

Photos attached. Cheers! (Apologies if wrong sub-forum)

You've spoken to the church and they've agreed to pay for the repairs?

Definitely dont diy it as will look worse and stand out more than ever before. The best thing to do would be to just sell it the way it is imo

Have they agreed that they will pay? I'd get 3 quotes from your nearest body shops and show the church. Failing that I'd take to the altar during mass and plead your case.
