So to keep it short, Im applying for my first credit union loan and they want 3 payslips and a bank statement. On the bank state is gambling transactions. Would this affect my chance of a loan?

No two credit unions are the same so nobody can answer the question definitively but other threads suggest that the main banks take a dim view if they see them on your statements.

It certainly won't help your application OP.

As others have said, gambling transactions on a bank statement are not helpful for a loan application, with any financial institution. Your Credit Union may be more lenient, but it would depend on the volume of the transactions, are the in/out and what the amounts are (please don't post that information here)
