Buying 8 yr old car with partial service history

Hi. What are the risks with buying a car with Partial service history. Would an aa/dac report highlight any issues. The dealer says he has receipts for other services but only 2 in the book for a petrol car with 60k miles. Thanks

Between the receipts and the stamps in the book, can you still see a pattern of a yearly service/work done. If so I would not see it as a problem.

When I bought my car, it was 6 years old, book at never been stamped, but it did come with 6 service sheets, on the dealers letter headed paper, along with a couple of other sheets of work done, also by the same dealer paper. I continued the trend by simply holding on to all the service/work done receipts as well, most of which by the same dealer.
