Electrical hum from spot lights.

Hi, looking for a little help with a small problem we have. We got 9 led spot lights in the sitting room with a dimmer. The spots are dimmable just to be clear. When turned on at the lowest dim setting there is quiet an audible hum coming from the lights and the dim switch. Very distracting. When the lights are turned up the noise is reduced but not fully gone.

We had the same job done in kitchen and extension and no hum present. Any ideas folks?

Who did the job for you?

You need a special dimmer for leds

Same person did all the lights. The dim switch has two knobs, one for the led spots and the other for wall lights which are not dimmable so the switch is fixed and cannot be turned. Maybe something to do with this set up?

Dimmer might not be suitable for led lights.
    Fauly dimmer
Settings inside dimmer set too low

Get the electrictrican back to rectify the problem

Possibly the switch is not rated to dim such low wattage
